Flavio Chuahy, a member of Madison's Wisconsin Rugby Club, was named to the three-match tour of Germany and Portugal for Brazil's select side.

Originally from Brazil, Chuahy is the only member of the roster currently living outside of the country. He has been a starting front row for the WRC's Division 2 side, including during recent USA Rugby national final appearances.

Americas Rugby News shared more information in a recent article:

Brazilian Head Coach Rodolfo Ambrósio has named a 26-man roster for the upcoming three test matches in Europe. Os Tupis will play two tests away to Germany and one to Portugal. Matches are to be played in Heidelberg, Leipzig and Coimbra on November 19, 26 and December 1.

Players have earned their places following the completion of the domestic club season. With six, the national runner-up, Desterro has the most players in the squad.

The tour is vital to Brazil’s preparation for the Americas Rugby Championship. Ambrosio has opted for experience with familiar names included. There is also room for Flavio Chuahy, the only player not based in Brazil. Read more ...

Brazil played its first match Saturday, dropping a close loss to Germany 16-6, although Chuahy was not named to this game's roster. He is believed to be the WRC's first active player named to an international touring side to earn a possible cap.
