Boys high school rugby is divided into two conferences in Wisconsin. The Badgerland Conference which is a special category member of the Wisconsin Rugby Union operates in the Milwaukee and Madison metro areas. The N.E.W. (Northeast Wisconsin) Conference is an independent league comprised of teams from the Green Bay/Fox Valley area. League play for both conferences is in the Spring with a State Championship tournament being held each May. This tournament pits the best teams from each conference against each other in a Final Four format as well as a "Best of the Rest" bracket.
