There are three fairly distinct seasons of rugby played in the Wisconsin Rugby Football Union. Fall is league play for virtually all divisions, both male and female. Spring allows many teams to assemble their own schedules and play friendlies against old rivals. Summer is typically a season played with the 7 per side or 10 per side variety and oftentimes coincides with local festivals.
